Divination, as I practice it, is not about prediction or telling the future. It is a sacred conversation. A moment of deep listening between you, the ancestors, the elements and the unseen forces that move through your life.
Rooted in the Dagara traditions of West Africa and guided by the teachings of Malidoma Patrice Somé, divination is understood as a way of restoring balance. When life feels confusing, heavy, or fragmented, divination offers a mirror, helping us see what is asking for attention, healing or movement.
In a session, sacred objects and talismans are cast onto a representation of the medicine wheel. Each piece carries the voice of an element and together they form a living pattern that speaks to your current crossroads. My role is not to interpret from the mind, but to listen deeply and translate what is being revealed, so that the message can be received with clarity and respect.

I did not really have any idea about what to expect, but I trust Svenja completely and just signed up on the spot. Although the session was online (I wish I could have done it in person), she gave me what I needed to prepare and I didn’t feel that I was missing out much by being online. The session was very interesting and deeply moving. It opened up and explained deep seated issues I have been struggling with for a long time. I received practical steps to take and I can honestly say that I can already feel the difference it made.
